Khởi nguồn từ sự căng thẳng giữa những định nghĩa đối lập: tính nam và tính nữ, trật tự và hỗn loạn,...- Ngài uyển chuyển xê dịch giữa vùng xám của ngữ nghĩa, văn hóa và giới tính; để làm mờ đi những thái cực, sáng tạo ra những hình thái mới trên tàn dư của những định nghĩa cũ. Với mỗi thiết kế là một mảnh ghép của những danh tính queer đa sắc, Ngài mong muốn gây dựng một cộng đồng tôn vinh sự đa dạng và những thể nghiệm độc đáo qua ngôn ngữ thời trang.

Established in 2023, “Ngài” is a fashion brand that explores the Viet queer identity.

Ngài embodies the tension between opposing definitions: between masculinity and femininity, between the established order and the utopian chaos. We shift fluidly across the grey areas of semantics, culture, and gender; blur the binaries and make way for new expressions that are ambiguous, gender-defying, disruptive, and intimate. Each design is a celebration of the multi-dimensional queer identitites. Ngài traces the unique experiences of queerness and aspires to build a community that celebrates diversity and creative expressions.
